Phil Yearout is a part-time writer/artist/musician and full time grandfather. He continues a life-long love affair with the prairie, currently living in Kansas with his very tolerant wife of 39 years and a modest collection of guitars, banjos, shotguns and fly rods. His work has appeared in Sporting Tales, Elysian Fields, Sporting Classics, The Double Gun Journal, Shooting Sportsman, the recent anthology A Gentleman’s Fireside Diary, and others.
