A guy I know in the Diplomatic Service got a look at this.  Compare to other images of the prize medal here.  Word is the Obama administration is concerned, but not much.  Apparently the committee has some kind of explanation about the change in Roman Numerals.  I don't buy it.  Rumor is that the White House is so proud of the prize that they may just go with it.
